Tux vs. Suit: What's the Difference?

For our event, we would love for you to arrive dressed to impress and don't forget your dancing shoes!Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outside, but we'll move into air conditioning for the cocktail hour, reception, and after party.Sunset will be at 8:15 PM. Expect temperatures to be somewhere between 60-80 degrees. July is typically humid and we will be close to the water.If you aren't sure of what to wear, feel free to reach out to Meredith for guidance and suggestions.

Three Village Inn has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The property provides a 24-hour front desk as well as free WiFi. All rooms at Three Village Inn have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and certain rooms also offer a seating area.

This hotel is a 15-minute drive from the venue. Rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen cable TV. It features a large indoor pool and fitness center. All warmly decorated rooms at the Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook-Long Island include an iPod docking station ,a large work desk and a sitting area. A microwave and refrigerator are provided in each room. Guests are welcome to use the computer with free Wi-Fi in the hotel’s business center and a gift shop is located on site. Located on the State University of New York at Stony Brook campus, this Hilton Garden offers on-site dining at the Northern Coast Kitchen &amp; Cocktails and there is an on-site lounge. Free WiFi is also provided. Each room at the Hilton Garden Inn Stony Brook includes a flat-screen cable TV and refrigerator. A microwave is also supplied in each room. Guests staying at the Stony Brook Hilton Garden Inn can exercise at the fitness center or swim in the indoor pool. There is also a business center.
